Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in sprinkles or candy. Add natural colors if desired and mix gently.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto prepared baking sheets and bake for 12–15 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
Natural food colorings like beetroot powder or matcha give a fun twist without artificial dyes.
Don’t overbake cookies should be slightly soft in the center when removed from the oven.
